Terms of Service

1. About Us

Momenté (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a fashion brand based in London, United Kingdom. You can reach us at enquiries@momente.uk. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Our Pieces

Many Momenté garments are made to order, produced once you place your order, in your selected size, from our standard range of styles and colours. Some pieces are one-of-one or commissioned, created for a specific moment, person, or limited release. Where this applies, we'll state it clearly on the product page.

3. Orders & Contract

When you place an order, you'll receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms we've received your order, but a binding contract between us is only formed once we dispatch your piece. If we're unable to fulfill your order for any reason (for example, a material becomes unavailable), we'll let you know and refund you in full.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in British Pounds (GBP) including VAt. Payment is taken in full at the time of order, as production begins shortly after you order. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

5. Production & Delivery Times

Because most pieces are made to order, please allow 3-5 business days for production before dispatch. Estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout. While we do our best to meet these timelines, made-to-order production means timings can occasionally vary. We’ll always work to get your order to you as quickly as possible and keep you updated if anything changes.

6. Your Right to Cancel

If you've ordered a made-to-order piece from our standard range, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, for any reason, in line with UK consumer law. Details of how this works, including who covers delivery costs, are set out in full in our Returns and Exchange policies.

7. Faulty or Incorrect Items

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. If your piece arrives damaged, faulty, or different from what you ordered, you're entitled to a free return, refund, or replacement, regardless of whether the item was made to order, discounted, or one-of-one.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, photography, archival writing, and content on this site belong to Momenté, unless otherwise stated. You're welcome to share and enjoy it. But please don't reproduce, copy, or resell our designs, images, or written content without our permission. 

9. Liability

We aren't liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Our liability to you is limited to the value of your order, except where the law doesn't allow us to limit liability (for example, in cases of personal injury or fraud).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in place at the time you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

12. A Final Note

We started Momenté Archive because we believe a garment can hold more than fabric and thread. It can hold a moment, a memory, a feeling passed between two people. These Terms exist to make sure that when you order from us, everything is clear, fair, and exactly as it should be. But behind every policy is a small team who genuinely cares about getting your piece right.
